*Not only do they drive on the left in Cyprus, but the roads are good quality and the signage is in English as well as Greek. It's a stress free destination for renting a car and seeing the sights (but your satnav is unlikely to work!)
If you're landing in Larnaca but your villa is on west side of the island (e.g. Paphos or Coral Bay) then it's still a straightforward drive, despite being longer.
To Paphos/Coral Bay:
From Larnaca airport follow signs out for Limasol (sometimes written Lemeses)
This will take you to the motorway very quickly.
Now drive for more than an hour to Paphos, ignoring any further signs for Limasol.
Leave the motorway and from the big roundabout follow the dual carriageway signed Kato Paphos (Kato Pafos).
The first roundabout will have a big Debenhams store immediately before it on the right.
Go straight through the roundabout and you are on track.
Follow this road, a dual carriageway, for a couple of minutes until you reach a small roundabout.
Beyond it, on the left, you may see a sign for "Kaligulas" (warning - advertising tends to change frequently). Regardless, turn right here.
That's it. You now drive straight ahead, through various sets of lights, on what will shortly become the coast road.
You pass the Tomb of the Kings, then Chlorakas, followed by Kissonerga.
This will all look very similar, shops, bars and hotels, as the old towns are above you on the hillside.
After Kissonerga, the sea comes unmissably close to the road on your left, while on your right is a large banana plantation, i.e. darkness at night.
As the road rises away from the sea, the bright lights of Coral Bay start to appear on the left. Turn left at the roundabout and you are there.
