Poseidonas

One of my favourite ways to spend an evening is to watch the sun set over Paphos harbour while enjoying a nice meal. While there are are very many restaurants with tables at the water's edge (and very nice too) I have decided that my ideal location is one floor up and slightly back. That way I see the harbour, the boats, and all the visitors. Quality entertainment! And at Poseiodonas, you get quality food to go with the view. Not expensive, for good food in such a great destination, and fish-lovers can choose from the freshly-caught specimens on ice by the door. Read more

The Gallery

A Fine Dining experience, there is indeed a gallery at this restaurant, plus an outdoor courtyard dining area. Tala itself has a small square with several other bars and restaurants, plus views down to the coast, and is a lovely place to spend an evening, but many people make a special trip just to the Gallery. Peyia Tavern

The restaurant with no menu (just a small round man reciting your choices) Unprepossessing would be a compliment, but usually full of happy smiling expats, who know you can dine very well on not very much here. Mezze is the default choice, but if you are not feeling massively hungry we heartily recommend the lamb chops. A short stroll after dinner will take you to the Grande cafe bar courtyard, for dessert if you have room, or more likely just coffee. Peyia Tavern is a legend - enjoy! Read more
